At the Finish

The 4th Sunday in August every year the runners from across the globe run through the toughest city marathon course in India here at Hyderabad. After 847 days the runners return to the streets of Hyderabad to run the 10th Edition of Airtel Hyderabad Marathon on 19th of December 2021. This year we are letting the spectators and viewers from across the globe watch the race

There are many ways to watch the race along the course, at the finish and online through live cams. Read our instructions for optimal viewing times, transport and parking guidance

Seating at GMC Balayogi athletic stadium, Gachibowli – FINISH

Thousands of runners will cross the finish line at the Gachibowli stadium on 19th December. Be there to watch these brave hearts finish!

Marathoners, friends, family and viewers from all over the world can tune in to our on course spectator lounges at the Airtel Hyderabad Marathon. On race day watch the marathon from these lounges at watch online tab on AHM website

Watch on the Course

We have 4 official spectator zones from where you can view the race, however there is no better place to watch the airtel Hyderabad marathon, you can line up anywhere on the 42.2 kms stretch leaving out the flyovers.

Recommended on course viewing zones

NSR Estates Zone 1:

KM 17 Drop by at NSR estates lounge, enjoy the DJ and cheer the runners as they approach the KBR main entrance

NSR Estates Zone 2:

KM 18 Catch the runners as they run towards the Jubilee Hills check post. Cheer them harder as they exit to the Jubilee Hills check post and take left on to the new marathon route

Aha Spectator Zones:

You can cheer the runners as they make their way through the IKEA junction at Aha cheer zones. Located at 25 km on the full marathon route. Immerse yourself in the cultural fusion and provide the runners with a much-required boost while you enjoy yourself

Spectator Guidance and Tips

Stay behind the yellow tape or line up off the collar line and leave the roadway open for runners

Be respectful. Don’t obstruct access to buildings/ shops or leave trash or signs behind.

Don’t stop cheering: The runners need your appreciation and encouragement. Look at their bibs and shout their names

Make signs, bring flags, and cheer: Carnival on the streets, marathons are fun to watch and a great spectator sport as well

Stick to the streets: Flyovers are off limits

The 10th Edition is the beginning of some amazing traditions by the local community making the special spots even more special on the marathon course. Here are a few

THE HIGH MILE: At around halfway point, the runners for the first time are going to run on the iconic cable bride, the students from NIFT are going to be there to provide runners with unparalleled energy for them to carry into the second half of the race. Get them high on “THE HIGH MILE” an all-students club collaborative by NIFT HYDERABAD

THE FINAL STRIDE: On the Final Km of the course, as the runners cross the “1Km to go” mark and approach the glorious finish line at GMC Balayogi Stadium, Sreenidhian’s are going to give runners the much needed final cheer!. Beware you might as well run your fastest Km fueled by the energy!
